WAPP

Let chemists do chemistry — not transcription

In accredited labs worldwide, people still copy readings into spreadsheets and rebuild paper evidence for ISO/IEC 17025 assessments. WAPP designs LIMS for the bench: large controls for gloved hands, values from instruments, Audit Trail that accumulates without a second job. For small labs we offer a free base system — with a queue and a public case.

Lab ecosystem modules

A process that protects data integrity

The goal is to remove dual entry and silent edits. First map the bench — how analysts move between sample, instrument, and report — then screens.

  1. Wet-lab workflow map

Sample → prep → measurement → calculation → report → archive. Find where people still write on paper and retype into a sheet at night.

  2. Traceability and immutability

Action log, versions, e-signatures. Audit Trail should accumulate for ISO/IEC 17025 and internal QA — without a separate “pack for the assessor” job.

  3. Integrations and equipment

Contracts with instruments, inventory, and reporting. Protection against duplicate events and lost readings under peak load.

  4. Operations and resilience

Backups, recovery, and monitoring so a failure does not stop intake or release of results.

Case: proficiency testing platform

Spektrokhim — interlaboratory comparisons / proficiency testing: rounds, samples, participant results. There we learned that tiny controls and nested menus fail on a chem bench — and carried that into LIMS design.

FAQ on lab digitalization

With a map of the real bench — not a wishlist “like that product, but nicer”. On a call WAPP locks what base LIMS covers and what moves to stage two: inventory, ELN, instruments. Without a process map, teams return to spreadsheets.
For small labs (roughly up to 10 people) — a base contour without a license fee. Terms: a queue (often 2–4 months) and willingness to publish a case study. Urgent or fully confidential — commercial development. Details — on the LIMS page.
No. LIMS runs the sample lifecycle inside your lab. Spektrokhim is a proficiency testing / ILC platform for organizers and participant labs. Same industry, different jobs.
Because the UI fights gloves, fogged goggles, and floor tempo. Dual entry into Excel creates transcription errors — and those show up in supplier disputes and failed assessments. We design for one screen, one action, and instrument capture where it matters.
Not always. Teams often ship sample intake and certificates of analysis first — the pain that already burns. Inventory and ELN come next. No standalone deep pages for those yet — we scope them per engagement.
